Stayed three nights in June, as an Asian couple seeking a departure from city life. B&B Lomamokkila was the perfect choice, with its quiet forest location and proximity to the lake. The friendful hostess made us feel right at home, and the tasty home breakfast was a great start to each day. The clean room and huge lounge in the guesthouse were impressive, and the fantastic surroundings, including the lovely and friendly dogs, added to the charm of our stay.

Can just recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed a fantastic time at a well-managed farm near a beautiful lake. The owners provided excellent service and helpful tour recommendations. The breakfast in the lovely farmhouse was superb. I highly recommend this charming B&B.

We absolutely loved the peaceful and beautiful location, with a 1 km path through forest close to/near the lake. The hotel staff was very helpful and gave us great suggestions on things to do in this city. The breakfast and dinner were both fantastic, with lots of homemade treats and a range of dishes to choose from. Finally, the hotel facilities like cleanliness and parking were all superb.

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel in the heart of nature. The setting was absolutely delightful, surrounded by beautiful trees and a tranquil lake. I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who provided excellent service and even offered me a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. The hotel had a range of fantastic amenities, including a sauna, beach access, and a lovely garden area where I could relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a flat-screen TV and a terrace with cozy garden furniture. I also appreciated the convenience of the shared kitchen, where I could prepare my own meals if I desired. The breakfast offered in the morning was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious homemade breads, jams, and local delicacies to choose from.

I highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Feeling of silence and nature around

The benevolent relation of the owner, full confidence, excellent place for family rest, a solitude with the nature, wood, lake, fishing, free using a boat for owners cotedg, a children's swing in territory of a farm and also animals on a farm, cows, geese. Near to a city where there are large shops

nature,peace and quiet and only 10minutes to get the Sovanlinna -nice and interesting town with many objects it worth to look at.

The owners are very nice, friendly and helpful people. The nature surround the entire area. A great, relaxing location, you feel at home. Great breakfast! :)

Best aspects of the hotel were the spacious rooms with simple furnishings and the beautiful rural location close to the frozen lake. , the buffet breakfast was a huge and welcome treat.

Worst aspects of the hotel were the lack of Christmas atmosphere and no decorations. There wasn't much to do during the holiday season as the area seemed to shut down.
